Yekaterina Ivankova is a fashion designer born in Kazakhstan, trained in Italy (she studied Fashion Design at Polimoda in Florence) and known for her innovative approach to sustainable fashion based on upcycling and environmental ethics. In 2017, she founded her eponymous brand, a creative project born from the desire to give new life to existing materials and garments through sartorial reuse techniques and Italian tailoring. Her vision is very clear: sustainability as the foundation of creativity, not just a trend. For this reason, she mainly uses deadstock (unsold materials from fashion houses and manufacturers) and vintage garments, reinterpreting them into original and contemporary pieces. Ivankova's work goes beyond the serial production of clothes: each piece is often unique or produced in very limited editions, built through the transformation of scraps, vintage fabrics and unsold garments, combined with traditional sartorial techniques and a modern aesthetic. This philosophy unites craftsmanship, sustainability, and design in a synthesis that reflects both environmental awareness and aesthetic research.
