The project stems from the desire to create the perfect jeans inspired by vintage Levi’s from the sixties and seventies, but reinterpreted with an almost obsessive precision for fit, fabric, and durability over time.
Resolute maintains an extremely essential philosophy: few permanent models, almost no visible branding, and a strong focus on production consistency. Hayashi considers jeans an everyday garment to be worn and washed regularly, not a collector's item.
All production is carried out in Japan, especially in the Okayama and Bingo areas, historically linked to denim manufacturing. The fabrics are woven on old shuttle looms and sewn by specialized artisans, using denim characterized by a "hairy" and irregular texture that evolves with use, developing very natural fading.
The aesthetic is understated, almost invisible, but this very simplicity has become its strength. Many enthusiasts see it as a brand capable of capturing the essence of vintage American denim through Japanese precision and sensibility.
